A Journey Through Art and Life
Uliana Gardner is a Russian-born Australian artist working across mixed media, painting, and drawing. Her practice explores the fragile relationship between humans and nature, capturing fleeting moments within the cycles of life and transformation.
Born in 1986 in Budennovsk, Russia, Gardner studied Production Design at Moscow Pedagogical State University after completing her early art training at Stavropol Art College. Her work combines painting, collage, and experimental materials, often moving between abstraction and realism to create emotionally charged visual narratives.
Gardner has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Russia and Australia since 2001 and has presented several solo exhibitions, including Timeless Moment in 2025 at One Arts Gold Coast. Her artworks are held in the collection of Central Queensland University and her practice has been featured in Artist Closeup Contemporary Art Magazine
Currently based on the Gold Coast, Australia, Gardner continues to develop projects that investigate memory, impermanence, and the subtle beauty of natural processes.
